As a little girl, Dr. Aiello suffered from chronic earaches. The traditional medical solution was to put tubes in her ears. However, Dr. Aiello’s parents sought out alternative methods. Both Dr. Aiello’s father and brother suffered from various back and body injuries and chiropractors had a significant positive impact on improving their health. Given those positive chiropractic experiences, Dr. Aiello’s parents brought her to a chiropractor to assess her ears. After visiting the chiropractor, her earaches lessened and eventually disappeared.
After witnessing the dramatic impact chiropractic had on her family’s wellness, Dr. Aiello was moved by the power of not having to use drugs. It was then that she decided that she wanted to help people in a similar way. She worked for a chiropractor from the age of 14 years old, focused on becoming one herself.
Dr. Aiello graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in 2004 as a Licensed Doctor of Chiropractic. (DC) She was recruited by and interned with Dr. Durlan Castro where she was able to observe him with patients. Dr. Castro used a technique called A.R.T. – Active Release Technique – and trained under the founder, Michael Leahy DC. With the use of A.R.T., Dr. Aiello saw patients get better within 5-6 visits. She quickly realized that A.R.T. allowed traditional chiropractic adjustments to last longer and pursued her A.R.T. Certification.
Later, Dr. Aiello graduated with a Certification in Active Release Techniques (Upper, Lower and Spine) and continued her training under Dr. Castro, eventually opening her own practice in February 2010. Her vision is to create a Wellness Center using ART and offering additional complementary wellness services to her clients and athletes.
